Overview

Some UPS customers send packages using UPS Freight for LTL shipments.  OzLINK can retrieve freight rating information once you enable it in OzLINK.  You must have Freight enabled for your UPS account before OzLINK can use Freight Rating.  Please contact your UPS representative for more information.

 

Enabling Freight in OzLINK

Click on the Rating tab at the top of OzLINK for UPS, then click the Freight Services tab toward the middle of the screen.  Click the blue "Setup Freight Rating" link.

 

Step 1 - Read through the directions on the screen and fill out the form appropriately.

NOTE: You must have a UPS LTL Pricing Agreement to use OzLINK with freight rates.  Click the blue Not Sure? link for information about getting a pricing agreement if you don't have one yet.

NOTE: Czar rates cannot be used with OzLINK.  For more details, click on the blue Not Sure? link.

 

Click on the Send Request button once it becomes available.  The button will not be available until you have indicated that you have an LTL pricing agreement and are not using Czar rates.

 

Step 2 - Click on the Login button.

 

 

The message below will display once you click the Login button.  The UPS website will also open so you can finish your registration.  Use the User ID and Password provided to log in to the UPS website and finish activating your freight rates.

 

 

 

1.  On the UPS website, enter your User ID and click Next.

 

2.  Enter your password and click Log In.

 

3.  Read the User Agreement, then click Continue.

 

4.  Review the UPS Technology Agreement, then click Accept at the bottom.

 

5.  On the Enrollment Options page, choose "I do not have My LTL User ID and password.  Please enroll me now."  Do not enter a User ID and password.  Click Next.

 

6.  Complete any missing information on the enrollment form, then click Finish.  Your request will be sent to UPS.

 

7.  Now that your request has been sent, you should receive an email from UPS on the next business day.  Once you have received the confirmation email OzLINK will be able to display rates for (and ship with) UPS Freight LTL.

 

Displaying Freight Rates

To display freight rates in OzLINK, select the freight rating checkbox in the freight services tab.  For more details, see:  Displaying Rates.
