Overview

OzLINK for UPS requires access to the internet in order to properly register, operate, update itself, and maintain compliance with carrier requirements. Firewalls sometimes prevent this access.

Your firewall (software or hardware) must allow OzLINK for UPS to access the following web addresses:

 

 

OzLINK uses port 80 as well as port 443 for https secure access. The software does not contain any setup options for Proxy configuration.

 

Please note that simply being able to visit these sites with your internet browser does not mean that OzLINK can visit them too. Some firewalls, web security packages, and internet monitoring applications allow the administrator to define a specific list of applications that are allowed access to the internet. Such lists would typically include browsers like Internet Explorer and Firefox by default. OzLINK for UPS would need to be added to that list.
