2. Prepare Shipment

3. Enter Ship To Address

Enter the 'ship to' address by clicking on the Edit button in the toolbar.  This is the address where the package will be delivered.  If you have enabled address validation then you will see a status in the box just below the 'ship to' address on the main screen.  A checkmark indicates that your address is valid.  If the address is not valid, PC Postage will list a suggested address that is a close match to the original.  If you would like to enable or disable address validation, click the menu option Setup, then General, and see:  General settings.

4. Enter Ship From Address if Necessary

You can change your 'ship from' address if necessary.  Your ship from address (return address) can either be gathered from your label layout in DAZzle or from a stored address in PC Postage.  To use the address on your label layout, set Ship From to 'Use label layout.'  If you would like to use an address in PC Postage, select the appropriate address in Ship From.  To set up the addresses stored in PC Posage click the menu option Setup, then Ship From, and see:  Ship From settings.

5. Enter Weight if Necessary

Confirm the shipment weight in PC Postage if you are using a scale attached to your computer.  If you are not using an automatic scale, enter the weight of the shipment.  For more information on setting up your scale click the menu option Setup, then Weight, and see:  Weight settings.

6. Select Mail Class

Select the correct Mail Class from the list of possible classes in the main window.  The rate for each class is listed to the right of the class name.  You can customize the list of available mail classes by clicking on the blue Mail Class text next to the selection box.  Check any services you would like to use and uncheck those you would like to hide.

7. Select Services

Below the Mail Class section, select the optional Services you would like to use.  You can customize the list of available services by clicking on the blue Services text next to the selection box.  Check any classes you would like to use and uncheck those you would like to hide.  For more information about optional services, see: Services.
