Weight

 

1.  Choose your scale's connection type.

2.  Choose the model of your scale in the 'Scale' dropdown.  Only supported models are listed.

3.  If your scale is using a serial connection, choose the COM port that it is plugged into.  If PC Postage has trouble reading your serial scale, click Configure to change the way PC Postage reads the scale data.  (Refer to your scale documentation to correctly configure your serial scale in this section).  Port options will not be available if you are using a USB scale.

 

The default weight is only used when you have not chosen a scale above.  The weight will be set to this default when you start a new shipment.  This value will also be used if you try to process a shipment with zero weight (you must list a positive weight while shipping).
