Cannot connect to QuickBooksOverview
There are generally two main reasons that OzLINK cannot connect to QuickBooks:
Try restarting QuickBooks and OzLINK
Usually connection issues between OzLINK and QuickBooks can be fixed by restarting the software. Make sure QuickBooks finishes starting before you start OzLINK.
For more details on restarting, see: general troubleshooting.
Fix access permission problems
QuickBooks must give OzLINK permission to access your company file before OzLINK can function correctly. Many QuickBooks connection issues are related to this access.
Single-User Mode
QuickBooks must be in single-user mode the first time OzLINK connects. To enter single-user mode, use the File menu in QuickBooks. Once the QuickBooks connection has been established you can switch to multi-user mode.
Administrator required
You must be logged in to QuickBooks as the Administrator the first time OzLINK connects. A different user with full privileges is not sufficient. Once the QuickBooks connection has been established you can log in as a different user.
Check integrated application list
To see if OzLINK integration has been accidentally turned off, open the Integrated Applications area in the main QuickBooks Preferences screen. OzLINK Shipping should be listed and have access allowed. Enable access for OzLINK if it is currently disabled.
Allowing the QuickBooks connection
When you first install OzLINK, you should see the window below. Be sure to select "Yes, whenever this QuickBooks company file is open." If you choose a different option or click cancel by accident, refer to the "Check integrated application list" above.
