Overview
The Tools menu contains several different options for adjusting your workflow and account.
Clear Address
Select this option to clear the current address you are working with and reset your service options to their default values. You can also do this by clicking on the Clear button in the main toolbar.
Edit Address
Select this to edit the current address. You can also do this by clicking on the Edit button in the main toolbar.
Set Date
This will allow you to change the mailing date to a future day. You can select a day up to 1 week in advance. You can also do this by clicking on the Date button in the main toolbar.
Buy Postage
Select this to add more postage to your Endicia account. You must have postage in your account to process shipments. You can also do this by clicking on the Buy button in the main toolbar.
Customs Information
This option will only be available when you have entered an international address. Select it to set up your customs paperwork. You can also do this by clicking on the
Intl button on the main toolbar. For more details, see
Customs Information.
Print
This option will only be available when you have entered an address. Select it to process your shipment and print your label. You can also do this by clicking on the 'Process Shipment' button in the main window.
Create SCAN Form
The Shipment Confirmation Acceptance Notice (SCAN) form consolidates an entire day’s shipments into a single form with a barcode that is scanned when the packages are picked up. When your customers verify the status of their packages using the automatic e-mail notification sent to them, your customers will see the exact time and date packages were accepted.
In addition to the SCAN form, the SCAN History Report is available, which shows you records and details of each SCAN form as well as an option to reprint a SCAN form. Contact Endicia Technical Support to request to have the SCAN form enabled for your account.
