Overview

Endicia and the Post Office offer several optional services for your shipments.  Most of these services will increase the price of your shipment.  Endicia and Post Office services sometimes change.  Below is a list of some of the services that may be available while you are using PC Postage.  If you need additional details about any of the services outlined below, please refer to the Endicia website for the most up to date information.

 

To customize the list of service options available on the main screen, click on the blue Services text next to the box containing the services.  Check any services you would like to show and uncheck those you would like to hide.

 

Delivery Confirmation

Find out when your item was delivered or when delivery was attempted.  You can view the status online through your Endicia account.

 

Signature Confirmation

Find out when an item was delivered or delivery was attempted, and add security by requiring a signature.  You can view the status online through your Endicia account.

 

Registered Mail

Get maximum security for your valuable items. Registered Mail items can be insured at your Post Office.  There are many restrictions on items that can be sent with Registered Mail, and you must provide an additional registered mail label on the package.

 

Return Receipt

Get proof an item was delivered with a postcard or email showing the recipient’s signature.  One of several other services must be selected to use Return Receipt.  You must provide a return receipt form with the shipment.

 

Certified Mail

Find out when your item was delivered or delivery was attempted. Requires the signature of the recipient.

 

Non Machinable

Select this option if your package is not machinable.  This generally means that the package has a unique size, weight, shape, or rigidity, etc.  For more details please see the USPS website.

 

Restricted Delivery

USPS will only deliver the mail to the addressee.

 

Adult Signature Required

Require the signature of someone 21 years old or older at the delivery address.

 

Adult Signature Restricted Delivery

Require the signature of the addressee, who must also be 21 years old or older.

 

Signature Required

Require the signature of anyone at the delivery address.

 

Saturday Delivery

Deliver the package on a Saturday if it would speed delivery.

 

Sunday Delivery

Deliver the package on a Sunday if it would speed delivery.

 

Holiday Delivery

Deliver the package on a Holiday if it would speed delivery.

 

Insurance

Enter the value of your shipment to insure it.  You can set up your insurance provider and options through the menu by clicking Setup, then Rating.  For more details see:  Rating setup.
